National Board Certification State Grants Received!

Congratulations to Ms. Foy and Ms. Webb, Ellis Junior High teachers for receiving the Alabama State Grant. This grant, worth $2,500 will pay for each of these ladies to pursue National Board Certification in the 2008-2009 school year.


Three Talladega City teachers, Emily Weldon (Salter), Regina McKinney (Ellis), and Darian Simmons (THS) worked on their NB certification this year. They will get results in late October or early November.

These educators participated in a National Board Certification Learning Group sponsored by the University of Montevallo Inservice Center.
