2009-2010 ORIENTATION SCHEDULES

Below you will find orientation schedules for Talladega City Schools:

C.L. Salter Elementary - Orientation
Thursday, August 6, 2009
4:00-6:00 p.m.

Graham Elementary - Open Campus
Thursday, August 6, 2009
12:30-2:30 p.m.

Hal Henderson Elementary - "Meet the Teacher" Orientation
Thursday, August 6, 2009
5:00-7:00 p.m.
Please bring all school supplies if possible.

School supply lists are posted at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and at the school

Houston Elementary - Open House
Friday, August 7, 2009
1:00-3:00 p.m.

R.L. Young Elementary - Open House<
Thursday, August 6, 2009
5:00-7:00 p.m.
Two one hour parent sessions!

Zora Ellis Junior High School

Students will report to school on Monday, August 10 at 7:45 a.m. School will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m. for bus riders and immediately after for car riders and walkers. School uniforms are required on the first day of school.

Parents may call 315-5700 or come by the school to inquire about the dress code.

**7th Grade orientation will be Tuesday, August 4 and Thursday, August 6. Parents will be contacted as to which day to attend.

**8th Graders may pick up schedules Friday, August 8 between 8:00-11:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Talladega High School

School will begin at 7:30 and students are late at 7:35. All students will meet in the gymnasium for a quick meeting. Students should pick up schedules during orientation or some day prior to the first day of school. For those who do not pick up schedules, they will be available the first day of school. School uniforms are required on the first day of school.


Locker rental ($10.00) and parking decals ($15.00).... must have a valid drivers license, license plate number, and proof of insurance.

THS orientation schedule:
9th Grade - Thursday, July 30 - 6:30 p.m.

10th Grade - Wednesday, July 29 - 6:30 p.m.

11th Grade - Tuesday, July 28 - 6:30 p.m.

12th Grade - Thursday, July 23 - 6:30 p.m.

**Honors students (any student signed up for a honors class) - Tuesday, July 21 - 6:30 p.m.
