Congratulations, Mrs. Jenni Griffin!

Salter Elementary students, faculty, and staff will have a leader in the school this fall. Mrs. Jenni Griffin, former Salter librarian, will take on the role of principal starting tomorrow. Her winning personality, love of the school, and elementary experience will serve her well in this new position.

Meet and Greet at R. L. Young

The faculty and staff of R L Young cordially invite all parents and students to a MEET AND GREET on August 5th from 5 to 7 pm. Teachers may choose to do two separate information sessions or have parents casually stop by. Save this date and stay tuned for more information.

My first day is finally here!

Today is my first day on the job as an official employee of the Talladega City Board of Education. Everyone I have met so far has shown a high level of support, a true concern for the success of our school, and a love for the students of Talladega High School. I continue to be greatly honored by my selection as your new principal and my excitement for this new opportunity continues to grow.
